African black soap, also known as Alata Samina in Ghana, is a traditional black soap made with plant ash from ingredients including cocoa pods and plantain skins. Our version continues the same craft with plantain, cocoa, roasted palm leaves, coconut oil and unrefined shea butter, just as women in Ghanaian villages have made it for generations.
Black soap provides a gentle yet powerful cleanse that removes dirt and excess sebum without leaving the skin feeling tight. Many people value it when they want to cleanse deeply while using a soap that feels balanced on the face, body and scalp. It can feel slightly rough at first, but it softens quickly in your hands and creates a gentle lather.
Like shea butter, it also has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. That is why it is so often mentioned when people talk about a more even skin tone, calmer skin and fewer breakouts.
How to use it
Break off a small piece, wet your hands and rub it into a gentle lather. Massage onto the face, body or scalp and rinse thoroughly. Keep it dry between uses, preferably on a draining soap dish, so it lasts longer.
A tip
Black soap is powerful. If you begin too intensely, your skin may react with an initial cleansing period. Start a few times per week, observe how your skin responds and increase gradually.

Massage gently for 30 seconds, avoid the eyes and rinse with lukewarm water.On the scalp

05 How should I store it?

Muy muy muy buenos productos. He usado jabón negro y manteca de karité y me quitaron las manchas de hongos en el cuerpo que me dieron por el sol. Y uso jabón negro como champú a veces cuando no uso el champú normal y realmente han hecho que mi cabello sea grueso, sano, brillante y fuerte, ¡mi cabello crece más sano! ¡Nunca dejaré de usar sus productos! ❤️❤️🌸🌸🌸

Utiliza jabón negro como champú. Me sorprendió que resultara ser una espuma tan deliciosa y cremosa. Tengo el pelo muy fino, pero con muchas hebras. Desde que comencé a lavar con blacksoap tengo más volumen en el cabello y mi peluquera me ha comentado que tengo mucho crecimiento. El único inconveniente es que el cabello se siente muy áspero cuando enjuago la espuma y tengo que terminar con un buen acondicionador.

Úselo como champú, limpiador facial y mejor para quitar el rímel. También funciona bien para quitar fácilmente la pintura de lápiz cuando los niños han pintado sus propios tatuajes. Llevo casi un año usando uno de 200gr. Tomé algunos lavados para que mi cabello se acostumbrara, pero mi cabello liso adquiere mucho más volumen con jabón negro.

Probé Black Soap por primera vez esta mañana cuando me limpié la cara como parte de mi rutina de cuidado de la piel. Me llamó la atención que sólo hacía falta un poquito de jabón en la mano para que con las manos humedecidas pudiera frotarme las manos con espuma y jabón y luego lavarme la cara con él. Después, me unté la cara con manteca de karité de aquí. También solo requirió una pequeña cantidad que dejé que se derritiera entre mis manos y luego me unté la cara. Ambos productos muy buenos.
